Psicólogo de profesión, se encontraba dando clases en la U. de Chile cuando fue detenido en junio 1975. Fue llevado a un centro de detención en la Región del Maule y posteriormente pasó por Villa Grimaldi, Cuatro Álamos, Tres Álamos (donde se casa con Blanca Iturra) y finalmente a Ritoque. Posteriormente sale al exilio a Inglaterra.
